Quality Clauses
Purchase Order Quality Clauses (QC) are generally divided into two groups of quality requirements or deliverable data. The QCs that cover quality requirements include elements such as: fixed processes, change control, sampling inspection plans, quality management systems, and others. The deliverable data items are titled as such and require the supplier to provide the described data item with each shipment when the data described is applicable to the PO line item through the associated drawing or specification. Examples of deliverable data items include: first article inspection reports, nondestructive test reports, dimensional inspection reports, material property tests, material certifications, etc.
